The archipelago is home to exceptional snorkeling, with renowned sites including Mana Island, Monu Reef and the Malolo Barrier Reef. Explore vibrant coral gardens filled with tropical fish and, with a little luck, spot turtles and reef sharks along the way. The Mamanuca are a world class surfing destination, with iconic breaks such as Cloudbreak and Restaurants, while Namotu Left offers ideal conditions for beginners. Malolo Island is also a fantastic kitesurfing destination from June to October, with steady trade winds and flat water lagoons suitable for all levels. Sheltered by Viti Levu from the prevailing easterly trade winds, the islands benefit from a unique microclimate with plenty of sunshine, warm air and water temperatures, and very little rain throughout the trade wind season.
